Read this important Boot Camp & Run Club information so that you will be fully prepared and really get the most out of your training.

MEETING POINTS & PARKING >>
PRIORY PARK
We meet at Priory Park, Holme Road, Penwortham, PR1 0BQ (See Team RAW Boot Camp pin on map). You can get to the meeting point either via Tower View or by walking up Holme Road from Liverpool Road (A59).

Tower View - when you turn onto Round Wood, at the end of Priory Lane look for somewhere to park on that residential estate, but please consider the local residents. Then head down the hill (towards the river) and come through the kissing gate at the side of the metal 5-bar gate. Keep heading towards the river and we meet just by the wooden sculptures .To avoid upsetting the residents on Tower View, please DO NOT park on this small cul-de-sac.
RIVERSWAY DOCKLANDS
Riversway Docks, Navigation Way, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston PR2 2YP

Tuesday 6:30 pm - Avenham & Miller Park
MEETING POINTS & PARKING >>
Sport Centre Car Park. S Meadow Ln Preston PR1 8JP
We meet in the Car Park on S Meadow Ln Preston PR1 8JP (the car park that you have to drive into and is next to the all weather football pitch). If you are stood outside front entrance of Continental Pub facing the park, the entrance to the Car Park is on the left.
BE PREPARED
Ahead of your session you should:
-
Complete the Registration Form - this is essential before you train for the first time

Make sure you have eaten, but leave 1 hour before training to let your food digest
-
Drink plenty of water throughout the day
-
Stretch out for 5-10 mins before the session if you have any ongoing joint or muscular pain, i.e. knee/shoulder. A warm up session will take place, but concentrated stretching on your specific issues will further help to eliminate any further pain/injury.
Facilities are limited with no toilets, changing or washing facilities. Come dressed for an outdoor training session in unpredictable weather, bearing the mind the ground is often wet/muddy. You should wear:

Suitable trainers; with a good grip sole and that you are prepared to get dirty

Layers of clothing – a thin waterproof, hat & gloves if needed
WHAT TO BRING >>
There is no lockable storage, so anything you bring will have to be carried (or left on the ground as you train). You should bring:

Water bottle
-
Necessary medication required for training i.e. inhalers, knee supports etc

A BIG smile and PLENTY of laughs!

Hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided - feel free to bring your own gloves and face covering if you wish. Social distancing will be maintained at all times

Please DO NOT bring any valuables, phones etc that you aren't able to carry with you whilst training
