TEAM RAW MALHAM COVE HIKE! 

Let's get our hiking boots back on ladies and take on an awe-inspiring Yorkshire hike!

When - 18th Sep 2021 - 10am - 1:30pm (approx 3/12 hrs walking) 

Where - Malham, Skipton BD23 4DG

Meet -    Malham Carpark - please aim to arrive by 9:45am

A 12Km walk around Malham taking in Malham Cove and Gordale Scar with the most fantastic views. The first quarter is quite challenging as it’s all uphill and mostly off the beaten track, but well worth the challenge as we end up at the top of Malham Cove with the most breathtaking views. The rocks at the top is where scenes from Harry Potter’s Deathly Hallows were filmed so great to go see for Harry Potter fans.

Janet's Foss - Foss is an old Scandinavian word for a waterfall. According to legend, Janet queen of the local fairies, lives in a cave behind the waterfall. Gordale Scar is the most awe-inspiring place in the Yorkshire Dales with its overhanging rocks and waterfalls.

PLEASE NOTE - Due to the nature of the route, ideally we will need to stay together as much as possible. It will be difficult for me to manage the walk if members are not able to keep together. The walk will be subject to a min number of members.
